- Works across the streaming, clip, and video sites you already use
- Remembers where you left the window, per site, so it stays put
What you can do with Knockit
One click, right on the video
A small Knockit button appears on the video you're watching. Click it and the video pops into a floating window that stays on top while you browse, chat, or work in other tabs.
Your browser's own player
Knockit hands the video to your browser's native Picture-in-Picture, so nothing is downloaded, unlocked, cached, or rehosted. The floating window uses the browser's own controls.
Remembers where you put it
Move the floating window wherever you like and Knockit remembers that spot for each site, so it opens where you left it.
Works where you watch
Knockit recognizes video and audio across dozens of popular sites, including Netflix, Disney+, and Prime Video. Turn any site on or off from the settings page.
Questions about Knockit
- Why does Knockit say “No video found”?
- On streaming services that use DRM, Knockit floats the site's own player, so a video needs to be playing on the page first. Start playback, then click again.
- Does Knockit work in Firefox?
- Yes. In Firefox, use the Knockit button on the video itself. The toolbar icon only works in Chrome, because Firefox doesn't let a toolbar click start Picture-in-Picture.
- Can I turn Knockit off on certain sites?
- Yes. Every supported site can be switched on or off from Knockit's settings page.
- Does Knockit track what I watch?
- No. Knockit only acts on the video you click, and it doesn't track your browsing or collect personal data. Anonymous feature usage analytics never include page content or full browsing URLs, and you can turn them off in the options.
- Is Knockit affiliated with the sites it works on?
- No. Knockit is an independent tool and isn't affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by the platforms it works with.
