Cadence counts posts as they load on feeds like Reddit, X, and Instagram, and minutes watched on streaming sites like YouTube, Netflix, and Twitch. Set the pace for each site, or pick Gentle, Standard, or Frequent for all of them at once.
A calm note, not a wall
When it's time for a break, a small note shows how long your session has run. Dismiss it, snooze Cadence for an hour, or step away. Nothing is blocked.
Remember why you came
Turn on intention check and Cadence asks what you came for when you arrive, then repeats it at each break.
Make long scrolls less appealing
Optional extras slow the mouse wheel as a session runs, or make the feed glitch and fall apart once you ignore a break. Both are off until you turn them on.

- Does Cadence block sites?
- No. Cadence shows a small note at your chosen pace and gets out of the way. You can dismiss it, snooze it, or turn Cadence off for any site.
- Which sites does Cadence work on?
- Popular feeds like Reddit, X, YouTube, Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, and LinkedIn, plus streaming sites like Netflix, Twitch, Prime Video, Disney+, and Hulu. Every site can be switched on or off in the settings.
- Does Cadence track what I browse?
- No. Pacing and stats stay on your device. Anonymous usage analytics never include the sites you visit, page content, or setting values, and you can turn them off in the settings.
- Is glitch mode safe if flashing bothers me?
- Glitch mode is off by default and asks before it turns on. Flashes stay under three a second and your device's reduce motion setting turns off the movement, but if flashing or motion bothers you, leave it off.
- Is Cadence affiliated with the sites it works on?
- No. Cadence is an independent tool and isn't affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by the platforms it works with.
